Don’t Despise Small Beginnings

A Confetti Update…

Hey, y’all!

I’m popping in on the blog today to share more about the Confetti Bible process!

First, I would like to thank you all so much for how supportive you’ve been towards my ministry… God’s ministry!

Zechariah 4:10 tells us: Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin!

This verse resonates with me so much. I’m telling you, very humble and small beginnings over here y’all!

I honestly had no idea how God would move when He first put this venture on my heart, and I first started planning this. Or how people would feel about the idea of a Confetti Bible. I just wanted to start sending out beautiful Bibles to encourage and inspire people to dig deeper into God’s Word!

I’ve completely overwhelmed and filled with gratitude by all of the emails I’ve received regarding Love Like Confetti! I work diligently and prayerfully in each Bible that I send out.

So far, every Bible + Kit ordered has been sent out before the “3-4 weeks” processing time that I put into the description. However, that time frame will stand because I’m learning all about balance:

+ my personal Bible study time
+ being a wife
+ taking care of 4 active boys under 6 (who’ll be homeschooling for the new school year again in a couple of months)
+ keeping my home
+ blogging
+ as well as other ventures

I just can’t send a Bible out if I’m not personally satisfied with it. Which usually means, just bursting with love like confetti! 💕 I work so hard in these Bibles and it just blesses me!
Working in God’s Word, for the majority of the day. Not just for myself, but for other women who are passionate about God.
WOW! What a blessing?!

I launched Love Like Confetti 2 weeks ago and it has already blessed my marriage so much more, spiritually! Last night for example, I was working in a Bible that will soon be shipped to a sweet Confetti girl named Emily, and as I was highlighting a verse I discussed it with my hunk of burning love (who has supported me so much)! It’s the little things like that, that makes me so happy and full of gratitude!

To God be the glory!

Again, small beginnings… My blog/website SO needs to be updated!
I need to get a few more business items.

But God has met me right where I am.

If you have a dream, don’t worry! Pray and plan! God will meet you right where you are.

Maybe you want to write a book.
Maybe you want to start a small online shop.
Maybe you want to open up a shop at a physical location.
Maybe you want to be a writer for an online company.
Maybe you want to lead online Bible studies.
Maybe you want to start a blog.
Maybe you want to go back to school.
Maybe you want to quit your 9-5 to work from home full time.
Nothing is impossible.

Ask yourself: Will this help others? Will this bring glory to God?
Pray.
Do research.
Reach out to others who may be able to help you, even if it’s just for advice.
Plan.

Where He guides, He provides!
Our Guide.
Our Provider.
Our Strength.
Our Shield.
Our Refuge.
He is truly everything!

So, I reassure you today, don’t despise the day of small beginnings! God is so happy just to see you getting started!

“God accepts your little works if they are done in faith in his dear Son. God will give success to your little works: God will educate you by your little works to do greater works; and your little works may call out others who shall do greater works by far than ever you shall be able to accomplish.” (Spurgeon)

  1. Your words are so encouraging, I have asked God to guide me to start the right home business for his glory and to be able to bless others and the reason why your words speak especially to my heart is because that’s exactly what I’ve said to the Lord: even if it starts small. Thank you for sharing your heart with us. God bless you!

    • Thank you so much for reading this post, Maria! I’m so glad that you found it helpful! Everything has to start from somewhere. It’s like we get so caught up in the big picture at first and it hinders us from starting! But God meets us right where we are. ❤️ Just like we don’t have to “have it all together” to go to Him, we don’t have to have every single thing planned or every tool we’ll need to get our dream started! Thank you so much for your kind words, they truly mean A LOT!

      XOXO
