An Interview With: Liz of StickerPaperInc. {+ A GIVEAWAY!}

I am so excited to introduce you all to Liz! She holds such a special place in my heart. Just like me, she loves color and all things bright! Liz is the owner of StickerPaperInc., a fantastic Etsy shop that specializes in making accessories for Bibles, journals and planners, along with a few other things. She is also the sweet woman who has partnered with me to bring y’all those beautiful Confetti Bible covers!

Shar: Alrighty Liz, can you tell us a little about yourself?
Liz: I never know where to begin when I’m asked this question. So here goes… I’m 33, a wife to an amazing husband that God brought into my life 3 years ago and a first time mom to a 5 month old. I love to do Bible journaling (a little different than the kind of Bible journaling you are so good at) and a lot of other crafty things.

Shar: You are too sweet! I’ve seen your Bible journaling pages, and they are absolutely beautiful! How long have you been selling on Etsy?
Liz: It’s been about 7 months now.

Shar: 7 months? Wow! Your shop seems to be doing so well just to be 7 months old. What inspired you to open StickerPaperInc.?
Liz: I’m not really sure to this day. I was pregnant last year and I knew there was a HUGE possibility that I would become a stay at home mom so I began praying about what God wanted next for me and at the time all my free time was going into Bible journaling. One day as I was praying and journaling it hit me that I should start making things that go along with Bible journaling. I named it StickerPaperInc. so I could branch out to other things as well.

Shar: Isn’t it amazing how God speaks to us as we spend time in His Word? I’m grateful that your prayers were answered because you are helping so many others in their journey with Christ! I’m quite certain that we would’ve never met if it wasn’t for StickerPaperInc. And, how clever?! I love the name of your shop. What’s your favorite two items that you have listed in your shop?
Liz: The first item would be the moleskin journal with a verse or quote decal added to the front which is customizable and my newest item!

The second would be the black and white paper clips. Black and white goes with everything, so you can’t go wrong with these.

Shar: Everything in your shop is absolutely beautiful! One of my personal favorites are these handmade Moroccan rainbow paperclips of yours.

Shar: What’s a typical work day like for you?
Liz: I’m a stay at home mom, so my typical “work” day revolves around the little one, which includes feeding, playing, changing diapers and making sure he gets naps every couple of hours. Once he goes to bed, I work Etsy orders and create new stuff to add to the shop.

Shar: I can so relate to that! You must be super woman! What tips or advice would you give a brand new Etsy shop owner.
Liz: I’m still new to this, but after doing a bunch of research and reading through Etsy groups on Facebook I feel like I have learned a ton. The number one thing that I can tell anyone is you have to put the time and attention into it to be successful. Most markets on Etsy are so saturated if you don’t have good keywords, titles, descriptions and pictures you’ll never be found. Gotta love search algorithms!

Shar: Thank you for your helpful tips, Liz! And thank you so much for chatting with me today. I’ve always loved every package that you’ve sent me, you put so much time and effort into all of your work!

  1. Both of you ladies are so creative! It is so had to pick a favorite verse! Currently, my favorite is Psalm 121:1-2 “I lift my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.” And Psalm 91:4 is a close second: “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” THey remind me to turn to God FIRST before everything else. He is there with me and will help and protect me. Always. 🙂

  2. Wow this is so amazing you ladies are so beautifully creative 🌺♥️…my favorite that speaks to me daily because this is so true for me it truly applies to my life! PsalMs 27:10
Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.

  3. This is so lovely y’all and thank you for the opprotunity :)! Mine would be Genesis 50:20 “But as for you, ye thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass as it is this day to save much people alive”.

It sums up the theme of Genesis so well :)! God is good and just and does not want harm to come to us, that is what Satan does and what sin does!

  4. Wow, that was a very interesting interview. I learned so much about Mrs. Liz. My favorite bible verses are Joshua 1:9 and Philippians 4:13. In Joshua 1:9 the lord is telling to be strong and courageous because God will always be wherever you are. What Philippians 4:13 means to me is that with the power of God in my life, nothing is impossible.

  6. I’m sorry! Please note I accidentally commented as Emily Simpson and Emily about Philippians 4:13 and Joshua 1:9. I don’t know if there is anyway to delete that.

I hate having to choose just one bible verse, but for this stage in my life, it’s proverb 3:5-6

  8. You mean I have to just say ONE Bible verse?? I have several favorites!! But here’s just one: Col 1;17 He is before all things & by Him all things hold together.

This was my verse the year my husband was deployed – and even now wth that deployment a distance memory, I have to remind myself that Jesus holds all things together -and that includes me.

  9. I love this! Two Mamas working together to create for others and their Bibles. Liz seems super nice and I can’t wait to check out her etsy page!

My favorite Bible verse is John 4:14
“but whoever drinks of the water that I give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

I just love the phrase living water and the idea behind it and I want to gulp down all the water Jesus sends me.

  10. I admire both of you women so much! I have been praying (and wrestling) with starting my own business myself but seeing both of you step out in faith is awe-inspiring to me! 🙂

One of my favorite verses is 2 Corinthians 5:17 – anyone that belongs to Christ is a new creation

  11. Thank You both for the opportunity 🌻
Psalm 91:2-I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in him I will trust.
This scripture brings me so much comfort. No matter what I am going through. I often repeat it over and over.
Psalms 92:1- It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto the name, O most High. This is another favorite. Often times I’m guilty of not doing this. It’s so easy to thank a friend, but I often forget to thank God.
Thanks for the opportunity to share💮

  15. I love interviews with such inspiring women! I don’t have a favorite verse, really, but I love Psalm 91. Lately, the NET translation of Isaiah 33:6 has been speaking to me: “He is your constant source of stability; he abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; he gives all this to those who fear him.”

  19. Hello! Hard and not hard to choose my favorite verse because this is one I say over and over to myself all the time. It’s Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It’s something that has gotten me through hard times when I didn’t think I could get through the day. The Lord sure is strong and strengthens us in unbelievable ways. 😊 Been having such a great time with, “Sailing Through Psalms” and loved reading this article, Shar! Love you girl! God Bless both of you! ❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘
