Sailing Through Psalms Weekly Roundup v.6

Happy, FriYAY! We are in Psalm 30 for our Summer Bible Study, Sailing Through Psalms.

This week, we covered Psalms 26-30!

For our weekly roundup for Week 6, I’m sharing Jodi’s (also known as @thismamaandgod // IG) beautiful Bible notes and her highlighting method!

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to mark in our Bibles. They are just as unique as we are.

Reading Jodi’s notes during each week of our summer Bible study has truly blessed me so much! So, be sure to click on the photos to get a better view of her notes; her She Reads Truth Bible is full of practical insight and inspiration!

Bible Color Code:
From Jodi,
This is what I use for scripture:
Green = green light = do these things, faith, obedience
Pink/red = red light = stop! warning! sin/evil
Blue = blue sky days = praise! good things God does! worship!
Yellow = passages with special meaning to me, lessons to learn/meditate on; Jesus Christ

I love the practicality of her color code! It is absolutely PERFECT for anyone who may be looking for a new color code that’s not too overwhelming.

In addition to color, Jodi’s margins are full of praises, reassurance, prayers, definitions, her personal insights as well as notes she’s saved from blogs.

Thank you, Jodi, for allowing me to share this! And thank you times a million for always being an encouragement to me. 🙂

Have an extremely blessed weekend, yall!  Our schedule for Week 7 will be posted on Sunday!

Let’s chat! What did you learn from quiet time this week?
What verse(s) stood out to you the most?! I would love to know!

Love Like Confetti,

  1. Thank you for sharing Jodi’s Bible notes and journaling. I love it and it is so helpful and meaningful to her and others that read it. I am so thankful that you started this Bible study this summer, it has helped me to really personalize the Bible to hear what God is saying to me. Thank you for that and for your encouragement. I also completely understand how draining social media and leading a Bible Study can be. I hope you will do what is best for your relationship with God and your family and for you. I know I need to spend a lot less time on social media and more time on face-to-face relationships and being intentional with my time. Blessings to you and your family! p.s. I can’t wait to see what God does with your ministry next!
